Founded in 2020, Morested Ltd is an independent RICS Registered Building Consultancy, offering surveying and project management services within the commercial property sectors.

The team has extensive experience within the industrial, logistics, healthcare and commercial sectors. We are well suited to complex fast paced projects and survey programmes.

We focus on great communication and a proactive mindset.

Meet our people

Sam is the founder and Director of Morested Ltd. Sam is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager, with experience working in the private, commercial, and public sectors.

Sam has a pragmatic outlook on projects and aims to inspire contractors, design teams and clients to really get the most out of opportunities on projects. Sam has completed many projects for clients which were previously seen as unviable, with great success.

With experience of large programmes of work, new build industrial developments and complex healthcare refurbishments, Sam is well placed to advise on strategy and value.

When sam is not helping clients with the property assets he spends time training for the next challenge, which for the last few years has been completing ironman triathlons having recently completed IM Wales and Copenhagen. Sam also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, especially when that involves swimming, cycling or running at the same time.

Tom Agnew is a Chartered Building Surveyor experienced in a range of professional surveys and project delivery.

Tom provides Project Management, Employers Agent and Contract Administrators roles throughout the industry and across all RIBA stages and procurement routes; from fast paced Industrial Logistics, Retail and Leisure, Offices and Healthcare.

Tom’s robust knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts assists in the successful delivery of a wide range of projects.

Andrew is a Chartered Building Surveyor with a strong background in commercial property including dilapidations, building surveys, project management and contract administration.

Experience includes overseeing both internal and external refurbishment projects of period properties, producing specifications of works, tendering and providing contract administration services.

Additional experience includes undertaking Schedules of Dilapidations claims working on behalf of both the landlord and the tenant and carrying out negotiations to agree settlements.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys staying active through sports, further reflecting his energetic approach to both professional and personal pursuits.
