Morested Ltd were appointed to provide Building Surveying, Project Management and Cost advice, following one large tenant leaving 4no light industrial units empty and in a poor state of repair at short notice. We were asked to review the buildings condition and provide an outline specification to undertake the necessary repairs and improvement works, in order for two new incoming tenants to take on new leases.

The works involved structural works to gain Building Regulations sign off for a previous mezzanine and offices that had been fitted, new drainage, new WC and Kitchenette, M&E validation and new installations, general building fabric improvements and enabling works for the tenants fit-out.

We worked closely with the client, tenants and contractor to ensure this very tight programme was met and that all parities were happy with the end product. The works were completed on time and to budget, with a very happy landlord and tenant’s on completion.
