Morested were appointed to undertake a technical due diligence, pre acquisition building survey of a mixed storage / office unit, to be acquired on a freehold basis. A Technical due Diligence survey provides a prospective buyer with insight and allows them to gain vital information on the potential acquisition and should act as a key risk management tool on an investment.
Following a review of all salient information about the property we then conducted a survey of the property and conducted a drone survey of difficult to reach areas, we issued a comprehensive report regarding the property's condition, repair costs, further investigations, building services, regulatory matters and environmental considerations, along with a capital expenditure plan and indicative repair costs. The allowed the prospective purchaser to make an informed decision on the purchase and assisted with negotiations on the purchase price.
