Morested Ltd were appointed to undertake feasibility, design, project management and cost management services for the complete refurbishment of a redundant and dilapidated industrial building.
Upon looking at the market requirements, it was decided that 6 smaller workshop units and one office would suite the local demand and works were undertaken to tender the works. The work involved a complete refurbishment, including, replacement of asbestos profiled roof, new windows, new partitions and fire stopping works, new LED lighting, 50kW Solar Panel installation, new roller shutters and powder coated entrance doors and external groundworks
The programme was very tight and required careful management, the building is now occupied with varied tenants from car MOT, to children dance academies.
